The original version of Even Animals Are Machines was published in Spanish in 2019, as La Pasión de Descartes (Buenos Aires: Bärenhaus). The English translation gave me a chance to rewrite some parts and “slightly perfect” the original, with the excellent guidance and suggestions from my editor, Simon Sellars
